    • .ajax() , .get() , .post()  provide AJAX out of the box.

    • Wraps XMLHttpRequest  or fetch internally.

    • Provides cross-browser normalization .

    • Simplifies DOM selection and updates ( $("#id") ).

    • Handles callbacks inline.

    • At scale, it avoids repeated verbose fetch()  + innerHTML  calls.
